A kinesiology graduate with real clinical experience in sports medicine and research — headed into medical sales, patient education, and clinical operations.
I just graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Kinesiology, and it turned out to be a perfect fit. I've always been drawn to how the body works — how it moves, adapts, breaks down, and recovers. That curiosity led me into sports medicine, where I worked directly with Division I athletes on injury prevention and rehab, and into research, where I spent nearly three years studying how wearable technology can help people live longer, more active lives.
What I love most about healthcare is the relationship side of it — being there for someone when they're frustrated or working through something hard, and helping them get to a better place. That same instinct is what drew me to sales. At Ohana Vacations I discovered I genuinely enjoy the consultative process: understanding what someone needs, building trust, and guiding them toward the right solution. I'm now looking to bring both sides together in medical sales.
Outside of work I run marathons. It's given me a real appreciation for what it takes, mentally and physically, to push through something hard — and honestly, it's made me a better communicator and clinician for it.
Coursework focused on musculoskeletal anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and the rehabilitation of sports-related injuries.
Nearly three years in the EpiTech Physical Activity Lab on CDC-funded research with Harvard — studying how wearable technology and epidemiology intersect with public health. The lab's work, including research I contributed to, has been featured in The New York Times, NBC News, and NPR's Science Friday.
Clinical placements at UMass Athletics, MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital, and ATI Physical Therapy — over 150 hours of direct clinical exposure across injury prevention, rehabilitation, and patient care.
While completing my degree full-time, I was named MVP at Ohana Vacations for outstanding sales performance — progressing from intern to managing full sales cycles on my own, from prospecting through close.
A dedicated long-distance runner with two full marathons — the Maine Marathon (Oct 2024) and the Marine Corps Marathon (Oct 2025). Finishing a marathon takes the same qualities I bring to everything: consistency, resilience, and showing up even when it's hard.
CDC-funded research with Harvard on how wearable medical devices can monitor physical activity, respiratory health, and cardiovascular risk in older adults. Went into participants' homes to set up devices, walk them through use, and troubleshoot — then collected and analyzed the physiological and activity data.
Managed the full sales process from prospecting to close while carrying a full course load. Built genuine relationships by focusing on clients' needs first and following through consistently. Started as an intern and earned my way into running full sales cycles — named MVP in February for top performance.
Led warm-ups and supervised strength training for Division I athletes, emphasizing biomechanics, movement quality, and injury prevention. Worked with coaches and sports medicine staff to flag fatigue and injury risk in a high-performance environment.
Supported patient care and rehab for musculoskeletal and post-surgical conditions alongside physicians and physical therapists. Assisted with orthopedic evaluations, treatment planning, and therapeutic exercise — and saw firsthand how clinical decisions get made.
Completed 150 hours of outpatient clinical observation focused on sports injuries and orthopedic conditions — watching evaluations, treatment progressions, and the rehab strategies clinicians use to get people moving again.
Ran a team of undergraduate TAs for a Chemistry II course of up to 400 students — one-on-one tutoring, exam review sessions, and weekly coordination with the professor to keep material consistent.
Six summers in fine dining and event staffing, from setup to finish. Learned to read a room, stay composed under pressure, and make guests feel genuinely taken care of.
Available for medical sales, clinical operations, and healthcare roles. If you're building a team that values a real clinical background and a consultative instinct, I'd love to talk.
